imageJennifer Barnett, M.S., CCC-SLP/FEES Endoscopist earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Speech Language Pathology and her Masters in Speech Language Pathology from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln.  Jennifer has experience in SNF/LTC, LTACHs, acute care hospitals, and has been completing mobile FEES exams since 2012.  She is a multiple ACE continuing education award recipient, is a FEES course instructor for Carolina Speech Pathology, LLC (now Patheous Health), and has guest lectured on the topic of dysphagia and FEES at universities, state conventions, and dysphagia study groups. She enjoys spending time with her family, running, and going to Royals and Chiefs games.

Molly Sloan, M.A., CCC-SLP/FEES Endoscopist earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders with a Secondary Major in Gerontology from Kansas State University, and her Masters in Speech Language Pathology from the University of Kansas. Molly has experience in SNF/LTC, LTACH, acute care rehab, and has been completing mobile FEES exams since 2012.  She has guest lectured on the topic of dysphagia and FEES at universities, state conventions, dysphagia study groups, and CE providers such as speechpathology.com.  She loves playing with her children, finding “free” kids events around town, and thanks God everyday for the beauty of four distinct seasons.

 

 

 

 

Both founders have experience in long term care, skilled nursing/subacute rehab, long term acute care, and acute care settings.  Jennifer and Molly have a passion for dysphagia and enjoy broadening their knowledge base through continuing education.  Both founders are multi-state licensed in the states they perform FEES procedures, ASHA certified, and CCC holders.  They hold certifications in neuromuscular electrical stimulation (Vital Stim), the MBSImp Profile, the McNeill Dysphagia Therapy Program (MDTP), and CPR/BLS.  They are competent with the tracheostomy/ventilator population, and are trained FEES endoscopists with expertise in the assessment and management of dysphagia.  They work within the standards of the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) Code of Ethics where they hold high the responsibility that “individuals may only practice in areas in which they are competent based on their education, training and expertise.”  Jennifer and Molly are committed to expanding their knowledge, and strive to contribute back to their professional community to better serve and improve patients’ quality of life.
